Yeah, I procrastinated. I also didn’t want to post another “listicle” or Clickbait-y list of top 10s. Although, I do like posting in a list type format for my own record keeping.
Stuff found in 2025 that I thought were significant or interesting:
Another snowboard set up. Found at the dump. Someone was fed up with trying to learn how to snowboard and they were dropping off various gear at the local dump’s free store. All the gear is a bit “old”-ish, but in great shape. I’m not sure if it is just me getting older but the gear from the past 15 years or so is not that much different from the latest stuff. There are different shapes and materials, but since I ride a camber snowboard the design hasn’t really changed that much. Some people may be picky and need the latest tech, but the boards I find are good enough to start a beginner’s snowboard journey.
More Microphones. A wireless Shure SM58. Found in ewaste at local dump.
Computer Accessories. Razer Blackwidow Elite Keyboard for $10 at a roadside sale.
Security Cameras. Reo-link cameras. I am trying to get them to work on a separate network not connected to the internet. Might try to tunnel into them at some point, but right now they just keep watch and record events.
