I collect, fix, donate and sell stuff I find at the dump. Dumpfinds is a document so I can remember what I found, how I fixed it, and who got use out of the rescued items.

A lot of the writing here is rambling and incoherent. It is meant as a mind dump as well as a place to tell stories from the dump. Hopefully, you may find a kindred spirit in one who rallies (pisses into the wind?) against the corporate greed, and distorted capitalist system that is destroying livable places on earth. It is not hyperbole to say, this drive for “growth” and “wealth” is killing and displacing people at an exponential rate.

Some of what will be discussed on this site is the right to repair, the stupidity of mass consumption, rallies against shit companies such as Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Yeah, even Microsoft is still shit and worthy of bad press. No, Apple is not your green “bro” that is “carbon neutral”. They are a bunch of rich fucks trying to sell you well packaged shit to make rich people even richer – no fucks or concerns given. There is a Trillion taken from the hands and soul crushing work of our world’s poor for our useless consumer tech trinkets.

Now is the time to sell, not buy. Quit buying shit on Amazon. Use the resources that you can find for free around you. Use those resources to get rich (tongue in cheek?) and bleed the beast.

I apologize. I know my ranting method of rhetoric is not effective in convincing people who don’t already believe what I am saying. I come off as an asshole and probably am to a certain extent. I just need to vent so I can be calm and not seem unhinged when trying to convince actual bureaucrats and policy makers. Perhaps this will be a rant posted separately and toned down over time. Perhaps this should be a notice in my about page.

Creativity is in short supply. The word Creative, when used as a noun is fucking stupid. We are all born “creatives”. Don’t gatekeep creativity. Create and write whatever you want.
